I own Bathys Hawaii Watch Company and use Saltzman's for all our repairs. They do good work and at a reasonable price and turnaround time. They've repaired many many watches for me and only rarely are they not done perfectly the first time. As for the ones that weren't fixed the first time, this can happen because it's not always possible to re-create the problem a watch is having. Having dealt with many other service centers in the past, I think Saltzman's does such good work that I'll ship my repairs 4,000 miles to have them do the work. I highly recommend them.

I purchased a Luminox Chronograph online and it performed well for approximately a year. Lately the second hand in the chronograph function wouldn't reset back to the 12:00 position. Luminox's website suggested this is the nearest repair center to me. Though I wasn't excited to send my watch on a 2000 mile round trip journey I was excited to have it repaired.

I called to get the details on what I should expect and the person who answered the repair line was able to not only trouble shoot the issue on the phone, but also suggest a procedure to fix it myself (While he walked me through it). Typically this isn't the service I expect for repairs these days. They were able to spend less than 5 minutes on diagnosis and repair as opposed to saying "Send it in and we'll let you know what it costs." Commendable effort gents. On my next visit to 'Gansett I be sure to visit the shop.

If their repair service is as good in person as their phone triage then you are in excellent hands.
